Fljamur Tairi is expected to continue his career in Switzerland, according to the Teuta President Edmond Hasanbelliu.
The club President of Teuta told Albanian newspaper “Panorama Sport” that Fljamur Tairi will not renew his contract and looks set to continue his career in Switzerland. Hasanbelliu noted, “I had discussions with the player and he has decided to leave the club with our full understanding. In the coming days, Tairi is expected to sign a contract in Switzerland. He will most likely sign with either Grasshopper or St. Gallen in the Swiss Super League. I wish him success.”
Grasshopper finished in 8th place out of ten teams last season, while St. Gallen won promotion to the Swiss Super League by finishing in first place of the second division this past season. Tairi has been a regular member of the Macedonian U21 national team over the past year and scored his first goal for the team this past Tuesday in the 6:5 road loss to Denmark. Fljamur was also included in the senior squad for the two friendlies in late May, but he remained on the bench for both games.
