Because of his flexible contract with FFM, Srecko Katanec found a way to spend his free time in Slovenia instead of concentrating on the work with the Macedonian team. Katanec will advise Slovenian club Interblock from Ljubljana.

Srecko Katanec has officially extended his contract with the national team of Republic of Macedonia. Katanec and the Macedonian Football Federation have signed a new 2-years long contract.
FIFA and UEFA mediate in FFM’s rift
Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski embarked upon a mediation mission to bridge the differences in the long-standing rift in Macedonian Football Federation. Early on Friday, Gruevski met with the President of the Ukrainian Football Federation and a member of the FIFA Association Committee, Grigory Surkis for talks on the perspective of the Macedonian football.
