Five Macedonian internationals played on the last weekend of the year 2008. Velice Sumulikoski, Goran Popov and Sasa Ognenovski have won with their teams, all three away, while Vance Sikov and Petar Milosevski both lost with their Cypriot teams.
Ognenovski 5th at the Club World Cup
Sasa Ognenovski and his Adelaide United finished on the fifth place at the FIFA Club World Cup 2008 that is held in Japan. In the match for the 5th place they have beat Egyptian side Al Ahly with 1:0.

Macedonian Australian club Altona Magic Vardar, has pinched the 2008 Foxtel Cup in the last minute of extra time against Melbourne Knights in a dramatic finish to the grand final at Bob Jane Stadium today.
VPL – Round 25
Round 24 was played in the Victorian Premier League and Macedonian Australian club Preston Makedonia disposed of Fawkner (4-1), while Altona Magic Vardar drew with A.I.S (2-2).
Derby, next club for Sterjovski
The Australian national team player from Macedonian origin, Mile Sterjovski, last week got the approval for the work permit and finally signed for Premiership club Derby County FC. His debut came last weekend when came in as substitute in the game against Tottenham.
