In the final league game of the Russian second division, Velice Sumulikoski was an unused substitute for Sibir in their 2:1 victory over Khimki.
The 38th and final round of the Russian second division was played today with Sibir recording a 2:1 victory over Khimki to close the season. The Sibir manager opted to give some playing time to younger players so Velice Sumulikoski stayed on the bench as an unused substitute. Sibir finished in fifth place with 61 points after the 38 league games.
As for Sumulikoski, during the league season, he made 30 appearances and scored two goals. Velice was the captain for Sibir but the club disappointed with a fifth place finish after having the ambitions to finish near the top of the table before the start of the season. Sumulikoski will now join the national team on 9 November in preparations for the Albania friendly on 15 November.
