With today’s results holders Struga managed to defend the title in the Macedonian top flight, while Vardar will need an extra match to avoid relegation.

Struga visited runners-up Shkendija in Tetovo and recorded a 2:0 win thanks to the goals scored by two former Shkendija players, Besart Ibraimi and Marjan Radeski. The title holders now have 64 points, 3 more then Shkendija, but with one round left they are champions as they have a better in the head-to-head score. Struga this summer will play in the Champions League qualifiers.

Shkupi was also in the title race but today failed to beat Brera Strumica at home. With a win they would have made the last round interesting as they visit Struga next weekend. With the current outcome, they will now only fight to reach the second place and qualify for the UEFA Conference League qualifications.
Vardar needed a win in Kratovo and a defeat for Brera Strumica in order to escape the relegation play-off spot, but neither happened. Brera Strumica won important point at Shkupi’s while Vardar was leading against Sileks, but conceded a later equalizer. The difference between these two is 3 points, but Brera Strumica has a better head-to-head record. Vardar will definitely enter the play-out where in a single match will face second league 3rd-placed Detonit Plachkovica
