Forward Stevica Ristić continued his good form in South Korea by scoring another goal for Suwon.
Stevica Ristić has now scored four goals in five league games played for Suwon. In today’s game against Gyeongnam, Ristić scored the first goal in the 20th minute as his side picked up a 2:0 road victory. Stevica ended up playing all 90 minutes for Suwon and scored his goal with a header from a well taken free kick played in the box by one of his teammates.
Ristić joined Suwon in early July from Russian club Amkar Perm. Stevica had the desire to return to South Korea and he mutually agreed to terminate his contract with Amkar which then allowed him to sign with Suwon. Ristić was born in Serbia but his mother is of Macedonian descent so he decided to represent Macedonia internationally. So far, he has made 15 appearances and has scored one goal during a friendly against Albania.
