Another qualifiers are set to finish. Macedonian has only theoretical chances to finish second, but in reality that is impossible since not just that we must beat Austria away, but then they must lose against the weak and pointless Latvia. National team coach Igor Angelovski will use these last qualifying matches as preparations for the Nations League play-off against Kosovo in March.

Of the regular players, lateral defender Egzon Bejtulai and midfielder Arijan Ademi are not summoned because of injuries as well as reserve winger Marjan Radeski. Back up midfielders Ljupcho Doriev and Gjorgji Stoilov, who were in the previous squad, are also injured. Angelovski wanted to call their teammate CB Dime Dimov, but he picked up an injury as well.

Back in the team are central defender Darko Velkovski and winger Nikola Gjorgjev. Debutante under Angelovski is Daniel Avramovski, the current top goalscorer in the Macedonian top flight. He has 2 caps back in 29014 under Boshko Gjurovski. Again in the squad is teenager defender Mario Mladenovski who was surprisingly added in the previous squad.

Keep in mind that Musliu, Nikolov and Nestorovski must serve a yellow card suspension in the first match against Austria, so they will only be available for the Israel game.

UPDATE: Later on Saturday Angelovski additionally added Tihomir Kostadinov, 23-year-old midfielder who plays in Slovakia and who has never been capped before in the senior team.
