Former Macedonian national team coach Srečko Katanec is leading Slovenia again and will face Macedonian in a friendly game this Wednesday,. For that occasion he called up 23 players among which 7 are waiting for a debut and 5 of them got their first ever national team call. Interestingly, most of the players (8) play within Italian clubs.

Slovenia will host Macedonian at the Bonifika stadium in Koper on Wednesday with a kick-off at 18.00 CET. Five days later they will travel to Northern Ireland for their second friendly.
