Pandev took up the unusual role of ‘trequartista’ in Saturday night’s 1-1 draw with Milan at San Siro, and was largely impressive. The Macedonian has spent most of his career up until now as a centre forward, but with Rolando Bianchi and Tommaso Rocchi also at Lazio, there are signs this could be a regular position for him.
