Borec, Lokomotiva and 11 Oktomvri were officially relegated, Sileks got back to its winning ways, Miravci, Tiverija and Skopje notched important wins, while goalless draw was the result between Madjari Solidarnost and Shkupi.
When the citizens of Veles were optimistic that their club Borec was getting back on track after spending years in the lower leagues, the club let them down as after only one season in the Second League they are relegated once again. With 5 round to go, Veles is mathematically eliminated as they can’t even reach the relegation play-off zone. Today, they played with some effort in their trip to Novaci, but they still lost 2:1. Novaci is also nearly relegated, but we will have to wait a round or two to formalize it.
Lokomotiva is equal on points with Borec at the bottom of the table and after being demolished today by Miravci, they are done with the Second League as well. Lokomotiva has been part of the Second League for 6 consecutive seasons, but now they are heading down to the Third League North.
The third club that was officially relegated today is 11 Oktomvri from Prilep, the club that two seasons ago played in the First League. Big financial problems hit the club that bears a name to the date when back in 1941 during World War II the Macedonian partisans for the first time started a fight to liberate Macedonia.
After losing to Teteks in last round, Sileks got back to its winning ways by defeating Pobeda Junior 2:0. That moved them 13 points ahead of third placed Vrapchishte with just 6 rounds to go. Stojan Velinov and Nikolcho Gjorgiev were the scorers for the home team.
Teteks was idle this round since their scheduled opponent Rufeja was disqualified by the Football Federation of Macedonia.
Vrapchishte defeated Zajazi 1:0 with the lone goal being scored by Igor Savevski. Tiverija also celebrated a slim win to get past Drita, while Shkupi played a goalless draw against Madjari Solidarnost.
