Dutch second division club SC Veendam has expressed interest in signing Samir Fazli on loan from Heerenveen.
SC Veendam is looking for a striker and has identified Samir Fazli as a player that can help in that department. They would like Fazli on loan but several other clubs are also interested in the 20 year old Fazli so Heerenveen will decide which team is the best fit for Fazli. Heerenveen would like to find a team where Fazli would be a regular so he can continue to develop as a player.
Earlier this week, Heerenveen announced that they are looking to loan Fazli in order for him to gain additional experience. Fazli joined Heerenveen in the summer of 2009 for 200,000 euros from Makedonija Gjorce Petrov but has not gotten consistent playing time. He is still a young player so Heerenveen feel it it is imperative for him to be playing regularly in order to develop his game. Fazli has not shown enough to warrant playing time with Heerenveen so maybe a loan will jumpstart his career.
