Vardar defeated rock-bottom Sileks and returned on the top of the table, at least until 27th round is completed later today.

Vardar held the favorites role prior the match against Sileks but did not got the points easily. Although they had numerous chances in the first half, the score at half-time remained 0:0.

At the start of the second half, Sileks saw a disallowed goal when Velinov was caught offside in 48th minute. But, in 74th minute Georgiev did opened the scoreline and it was 0:1 for Sileks, result surprising everyone. However, just a minute later Manevski set the score straight and gave Vardar’s fans hope that the match can still be saved. The winning goal came in 82nd minute when Jorge Giménez fired the ball past Bozhinovski and into the net.

With this win, Vardar returned on the top of the table, at least until the other matches from 27th round are not finished.

Yesterday, Shkendija destroyed Napredok in Kichevo. The remaining 4 fixtures will be played today, at 14.00 CET.
