Rabotnichki returns to Arena Philip II

Rabotnichki will not play at the Boris Trajkovski stadium after all as they will remain hosting home matches at the National Arena Philip II of Macedon.

A week ago, Rabotnichki informed the Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM) that the club planned on playing its home games this season at the Boris Trajkovski stadium in Skopje’s suburb of Madjari, but Rabotnichki’s management reached a new deal to with the board of directors of the stadium to keep on playing at the National Arena Phillip II of Macedon.  Rabotnichki initially opted to change venues because the rent became more expensive after the main stadium underwent renovations.  However, they have reverted course and Rabotnichki will be back at the National Arena Phillip II of Macedon this season, beginning this Sunday when they host Drita in the second round of the 2012/13 season.
