16th of August, 16.00 CET – the time scheduled for kick-off of the third round and the time when you should be on stadiums. 6 matches round Macedonia, with derbies played in the capital.
Champions Makedonija Gjorche Petrov after a slow start with only 1 point won from the two matches played in Tetovo against Renova and Teteks will host Vardar. Vardar started good and managed to win 4 points from 6 possible. Last season Makedonija managed to win twice against Vardar, but both teams have significantly changed since then. Gjorche will be without the players they have suspended recently. Looking back at their mutual matches we will note equality – 4 wins for Makedonija, 3 for Vardar, 5 draws. Certainly an exciting match is up next and if you cannot go to Gjorche Petrov stadium, then A1 will have a live broadcast.
Rabotnicki will host Renova on the national arena Philip II of Macedon in a match between two teams that will fight for the top. Renova will hope for a repetition of the last match played between these two in Skopje when they won 1-3. Rabotnicki had shorter time for rest after their match against Milano last Wednesday when they won 0-2. Renova has two wins out of two so far and is the only team that still has not conceded a goal. With a win Rabotnicki will have 7 points, one more then their tomorrow opponents, Renova.
In Bitola, Pelister will host Milano. After the morale-boosting win against Metalurg away from home in the past round, Pelister has a good opportunity for connecting 2 wins when they take on wounded Milano. Milano has lost twice so far, twice at home, twice with 0-2. Their problems are obvious and Pelister at home should have the strength to earn a victory. In their last 3 meetings in Bitola, Pelister always managed to win against the team from Kumanovo.
Horizont Turnovo will face Metalurg. Afte the good start of the hosts and the 4 won points maybe it is rightly to consider them as small favorites ahead of the match, especially after Metalurg’s slow start and their defeat at home in the last round to Pelister with 1-2. Metalurg have signed Vladimir Dimitrovski in order to strengthen up the defense which caused the most problems for them so far. In the last season two of the three meetings ended in a draw, while once Turnovo celebrated a 1-0 win.
Sileks did not managed to win all three points in Prilep last round, but will have an opportunity for celebrating first victory when they meet newcomers Sloga Jugomagnat. Both teams have drawn twice so far, Sileks against Vardar and Pobeda, while Sloga against Pelister and Turnovo. Another exciting match should be coming as both coaches don’t have squad problems and will be able to field the best team.
Teteks will be searching the first win this season on Sunday when they take on Pobeda at home. Because of the home pitch and because of their offensive play shown so far, Teteks are rightly considered as favorites before the beginning. Nevertheless, both teams have same score so far with only one point won, 3 goals scored and 5 conceded. Whether one team will celebrate a victory, it remains to be seen on Sunday.

Betting advices:
For those of You who like betting, You probably know that Bwin offers odds from the Macedonian league.
Pelister at 1.50, Sileks at 1.55 and Teteks at 1.50 combined give odds of 3.49. An interesting combination which is worth a small bet. Makedonija against Vardar is a match to be avoided, Rabotnicki against Renova can really go any way, while Turnovo’s odds are juicy but you can never know when will Metalurg show their new team’s strength.
