After the positive draw from the first leg with a scored goal away from home, Rabotnicki are rightly favorites against Crusaders FC from Northern Ireland in the second round of the UEFA Europa League qualification phase.

Though it was expected Rabotnicki to win the two legs since Crusaders’ players are semi-professionals, it turned out to be lot harder then expected, at least in the first leg. Rabotnicki had a lead, but then game tempo was on the up and red cards and penalties were shown and given and eventually the match ended 1-1, which after all it is a positive result.

Rabotnicki carries the favorites role in the bookies eyes as well with given odds of around 1.20 for their win. Crusaders are not to be underestimated but at the same time it is an obstacle that should be passed without bigger problems. If Rabotnicki players do not get too complacent then it will be a real (negative) surprise if they do not note a victory.

The Macedonian Cup winner is the only Macedonian team that has chances for advancing to the next round and should, once again, do that successfully. Danish team Odense awaits and the Crusaders should not stop Rabotnicki.
