As the season is getting near the end, more and more intense became the battles for champion, avoiding relegation, promotion and the play-offs.
The First League features Round 31, one of the last three rounds. Ofcourse, most interesting should be in Turnovo where the home teams hosts Metalurg. Turnovo is just a point behind Vardar and must take the three points in order to stay in the race for the tittle, while the visitors although lost valuable points in the past round still believe in a miracle. Many thing can change as in the next round Metalurg hosts leaders Vardar, while in the last round Turnovo visits Vardar.
Vardar should have easier task as they host Napredok, but the visitors must start collecting points as they are now on dangerous 4 points above the relegation play-off zone. Drita is attacking Napredok’s position and since they are facing Teteks at home, they must win. But although Teteks are nearly relegated, they still have mathematical chances to survive. Both Teteks and Sileks have 9 points less than Pelister who is last in the relegation play-off zone, but since they are both better than Pelister in the head-to-head encounters so with collecting all 9 points in the last rounds and with Pelister losing all three, one of them can be spared from direct relegation.
If those mathematical chances are possible, we will find out on Sunday as Sileks must beat Rabotnichki in Skopje, Teteks must celebrate over Drita also away, while Pelister must lose at home to Renova. Pelister needs only a point to secure themselves just in case the bottom two teams win.
In the last game, Bregalnica hosts Shkendija in Shtip. Bregalnica needs a win to be safe from the play-offs so the hosts probably will attack from the start knowing that Shkendija travels with no ambitions as all of their thoughts are at the Cup final.

Round 28 will be played in the Second League, where will also remain two until the end. Leaders Makedonija GjP will have a tough road game against Vrapchishte. The home team is just 4 points away from the relegation play-off place and surely won’t surrender easily. Second-placed Skopje travels away to Prilep to face 11 Oktomvri, third-placed Gostivar hosts Novaci in a must win game, while fourth-placed Gorno Lisiche is hosting Babi. All three promotion candidates face teams who fear the relegation play-off place.
Two of the 7 teams that fight to avoid the relegation play-off place will face in Bitola. Korzo host Lokomotiva as the visitors have a point more on the table. The game will be played in Bitola as 11 Oktomvri will use the Goce Delchev stadium in Prilep. This round can also be marked with the direct relegation of Tikvesh: they must beat Pobeda Junior at home but also Babi not to win points away to Gorno Lisiche in order for Tikvesh to retain its mathematical chances.
