Potential internationals performances

Robert Stambolziev crosses a ball; photo: sydneyfc.com This past weekend was a quiet one for the potential internationals as many leagues are still in the winter break.

Australia, Hyundai A-League, Brisbane Roar – Newcastle Jets 2:2
Benjamin Kantarovski began on Newcastle’s bench and played the last 15 minutes after he replaced Mateo Poljak. Kantarovski was also booked with a yellow card in the 86th minute.

Australia, Hyundai A-League, Sydney FC – Perth 1:2
Ivan Necevski was the goalkeeper #2 for Sydney behind Vedran Janjetović, while his teammate Robert Stambolziev also opened on the bench, but came on in the 53rd minute to replace George Blackwood. Christopher Naumoff didn’t make the home team’s matchday squad.

Austria, Bundesliga, Grödig – Admira 2:2
Benjamin Sulimani started on the left wing for Grödig and played until the 72nd minute when he was substituted by Thomas Goiginger. Grödig was two goals down, but scored two times in the last five minutes, thus grabbing one point in the home encounter against Admira.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Genk – Waasland-Beveren 6:1
Erdin Demir played all minutes on left-back for Waasland-Beveren as his team was demolished on the road by Genk.

Germany, 2.Bundesliga, Eintracht Braunschweig – Arminia 1:0
Orhan Ademi started at centre-forward for the home side and played until the 63rd minute when Dominick Kumbela took his place. Braunschweig collected three points thanks to an early goal in the 6th minute scored by Ken Reichel.

Greece, Super League, Panetolikos – Levadiakos 2:0
Forward Marko Markovski made the start for Panetolikos and played until the 72nd minute when he was replaced by Osmar Ferreyra.
