Just a small number of potential internationals were active this past weekend, but noteworthy is newbie Nikola Gjorgjev who was called up for the first time for a game in the Swiss top division.
Australia, A-League, Perth – Sydney 1:3
Ivan Necevski was the reserve goalkeeper for Sydney and spent the entire game on the bench, while Christopher Naumoff made the start for Sydney and played the opening half before he was substituted by Rhyan Grant at the half-time break. Their teammate, Robert Stambolziev, didn’t make the matchday squad.

Ben Kantarovski started in defensive midfield for Newcastle and played all 90 minutes as his team suffered an unfortunate loss due to an own goal in the 3rd minute of stoppage time. In the 90th minute, Kantarovski also received a yellow card.
Germany, 2. Bundesliga, Aalen – Darmstadt 0:0
Orhan Ademi made his league debut for Aalen by getting the start and nearly playing the entire game as he was replaced by Collin Quaner in the 90th minute. The game eventually ended in a goalless draw.
Greece, Super League, Panionios – Kerkyra 0:0
Marko Markovski was an unused substitute for Kerkyra.
Netherlands, Eredivisie, NAC Breda – Vitesse 0:1
Uroš Matić started on NAC Breda’s bench and played the last 20 minutes after he took the place of Gill Swerts.
Portugal, Segunda Liga, União Madeira – Porto B 5:1
Marko Pavlovski made his 4th consecutive start for Porto B and played all 90 minutes in the heavy road loss against União Madeira.
Switzerland, Raiffeisen Super League, Grasshoppers – Basel 2:4
17-year-old winger Nikola Gjorgjev was an unused substitute for Grasshoppers.
