This past weekend was a quiet one for the potential internationals, but noteworthy is Christopher Naumoff’s first start of the season in the Australian A-League.
Australia, A-League, Adelaide – Sydney 0:0
Ivan Necevski stayed on the bench for Sydney as the #2 goalkeeper behind Vedran Janjetović, whereas his temmate Christopher Naumoff made the first start of the season and played until the 62nd minute when he made way for Alex Gersbach. Meanwhile, Daniel Petkovski didn’t make the matchday squad for Sydney.
Australia, A-League, Newcastle – Melbourne Victory 2:2
Ben Kantarovski made the start for the home side in central midfield and played the whole match. Newcastle was on a good way to grab three points at home, but ended up in a draw after gambling away an early 2:0 lead.
Austria, Bundesliga, Admira – Wiener Neustadt 1:1
Benjamin Sulimani started for Admira and played nearly the entire game as he was replaced by René Schicker in the 2nd minute of stoppage time. Sulimani also received a yellow card for unsporting behaviour in the 32nd minute.
Bosnia and Herzegovina, Premijer Liga, Travnik – Željezničar 0:0
Vedran Kjosevski spent all minutes on the bench as he was Željezničar’s reserve goalie.
Bosnia and Herzegovina, Premijer Liga, Mladost – Sloboda 1:0
Lazar Vidić made the start for Mladost and played the first half in the narrow win against Sloboda. The forward was also booked with a yellow card in the 36th minute.
Danmark, Superligaen, Hobro – Brøndby 3:0
Riza Durmisi played all minutes at left-back for the visitors in this unexpected loss away to Hobro.
Greece, Super League, Giannina – Niki Volos 4:0
Robert Stambolziev opened on the bench for Niki Volos and replaced Stylianos Tsoukanis in the 54th minute. Stambolziev also received a yellow card in the 83rd minute.
Greece, Super League, Kerkyra – Panetolikos 1:2
Marko Markovski played the entire game in Kerkyra’s attack as his team suffered a slim loss at home against Panetolikos.
Norway, Tippeligaen, Haugesund – Brann 2:3
Erdin Demir was an unused substitute for the away side. Brann finished third from bottom, thus Demir’s team will take part in the relegation play-off where they will look to remain in the Tippeligaen for next season.
Slovakia, Fortuna Liga, Košice – Trenčin 2:0
Haris Hajradinović made the start for the away team and played until the 79th minute when he was substituted by Patrik Mišák. The game eventually ended in a draw away to Košice.
Slovenia, Prva Liga, Krka – Maribor 1:3
Dejan Trajkovski spent the entire game on Maribor’s bench.
Slovenia, Prva Liga, Celje – Gorica 2:0
Valon Ahmedi started for Celje and played all minutes, while Amir Bilali once again wasn’t called up by Celje’s coach.
Turkey, Süper Lig, Erciyesspor – Bursaspor 1:1
Serdar Aziz played all 90 minutes in central defense as his team Bursaspor grabbed one point on the road against Erciyesspor.
