Potential internationals performances

Riza Durmisi; photo: ScanpixTwo potential internationals, Benjamin Sulimani and Riza Durmisi, scored goals during the past couple of days, the latter scoring twice despite being a defender. 

Australia, A-League, Sydney – Western Sydney Wanderers 3:1
Ivan Necevski was the second goalkeeper for Sydney behind Vedran Janjatovic, whereas Alec Urosevski also began on the bench before replacing Ranko Despotovic in the 71st minute. Their teammates Daniel Petkovski and Christopher Naumoff were not included in the matchday squad.

Austria, Bundesliga, Wolfsberger AC – Admira 2:3
Forward Benjamin Sulimani returned after his red card suspension and scored Admira’s third goal in the 62nd minute. He opened the match on the bench, but he came on in the 54th minute after he replaced Rene Schicker.

Cyprus, Division A, Kouklia – APOEL 1:6
Offensive allrounder Robert Stambolziev played the whole game for Kouklia in this heavy defeat against APOEL.

Denmark, Superligaen, Bröndby – Nordsjaelland 4:1
Left-back Riza Durmisi had an impressive appearance as he scored twice in Bröndby’s home victory. He scored both goals with left footed shots, the first coming in the 43rd minute and the second in the 90th minute. Durmisi was born in 1994 and is currently a member of Denmark’s U21 national team. Nevertheless, he is still eligible to play for Macedonia.

Germany, Bundesliga, Stuttgart – Braunschweig 2:2
Centre forward Orhan Ademi came off Braunschweig’s bench in the 67th minute to replace Havard Nielsen. This was an important point for Ademi’s team because Stuttgart, in the 15th position, would have been six points ahead of Braunschweig in the case of a Stuttgart win. The last two teams of the Bundesliga will be relegated to the 2. Bundesliga, while the team on the 16th position must compete in a play-off to avoid relegation.

Italy, Serie A, Sampdoria – Livorno 4:2
Defender Shkodran Mustafi played all minutes for Sampdoria in this high scoring game which eventually ended in a win for the home side.

Italy, Prima Divisione A, Savona – Carrarese 1:1

Fatih Ademi, born in 1994 and therefore eligible to play for Macedonia’s U21 national team, started on Carrarese’s bench and played the final 20 minutes after he took the place of Leonardo Mancuso.   

Portugal, Segunda Liga, Chaves – Porto B 2:1

Midfielder Marko Pavlovski spent all 90 minutes on Porto B’s bench.

Serbia, Prva liga, Sloga Petrovac na Mlavi – Dolina 1:1
Right-back Ivan Karanfilovski played the second half for the home team after he substituted Andreja Dojcinovic at the half time break.

Slovakia, Corgon liga, Trencin – Zlate Moravce 2:1
Haris Hajradinovic was an unused substitute for Trencin.

Slovenia, Prva Liga, Celje – Rudar 1:2
19-year-old centre back Amir Bilali played all minutes for the home team in this narrow loss against Rudar.

Sweden, Svenska Cupen, Ängelholms – Malmö 0:3
Erdal Rakip made a late substitute appearance for Malmö as he replaced Guillermo Molins in the 85th minute. Muamet Asanovski, meanwhile, made the start for the home team and played until the 85th minute when he received his second yellow card and was thus sent off.

Switzerland, Super League, Basel – St. Gallen 1:1
Defensive allrounder Naser Aliji spent the entire game on Basel’s bench.

USA, MLS, Portland – Philadelphia 1:1
Michael Nanchoff made the bench for Portland but did not get a chance to enter the match.
