Potential internationals performances

Just a couple of potential internationals were active during the last few days. Nonetheless, two of them each scored a goal for their respective teams.

Australia, A-League, Newcastle – Sydney 0:2
Ivan Necevski was the reserve goalkeeper for Sydney while defender Daniel Petkovski played the last 20 minutes after replacing Themba Muata Marlow. Their teammate Alec Urosevski spent the entire game on the bench, whereas Christopher Naumoff wasn’t called up for this game. The first of Sydney’s two goals was scored by Sasa Ognenovski, who is also of Macedonian origin but is no longer eligible to play for Macedonia.

Austria, Bundesliga, Red Bull Salzburg – Admira 6:1
This was a game of ups and downs for Benjamin Sulimani as he scored the first goal of the game in the 2nd minute with a right-footed shot, but thirty minutes later he received two quick yellow cards in just two minutes to be sent off by the referee. That left Admira with ten players on the field, and Salzburg took advantage by then scoring five more goals to down Admira 6:1.
