FFM informed that late on Tuesday night at the age of 54 the legendary player of Pobeda and coach, Nikolche Zdraveski, passed away prematurely.
Nikolche Zdraveski spent almost his entire career in Pobeda, and also played for Prespa, Vardar and Pelister. With Vardar in 1998, he won the Macedonian Cup and scored one of the two goals in the victory in the final against Sloga Jugomagnat.
With his home club Pobeda became a champion both as a player and as a coach, and in 2007 he was also named coach of the year by FFM.
In 2002 he won the Macedonian Cup, while in 2004 lead Pobeda to its first title in the 1.MFL. The same year was voted as athlete of the year in Prilep.
Zdraveski was once summoned in the Macedonian national team, in 2000 for the friendly tournament in Bulgaria. He came of the bench in the semifinal against tournament host club Spartak from Varna in a FIFA unofficial match, while his real debut was in the match for the 3rd place against Azerbaijan when he started and played 80 minutes in the 2:1 win.
After his career, he also worked as a coordinator of the youth school of Pobeda, and spent the last years of his life with the youngest. Zdraveski worked as a coach at his private school Evrogol from Prilep, and was part of the coaching staff at the FFM Academy in Prilep.
