Dejan Blazhevski, also known by his nickname Shile, mostly played on the left wing and was famous for his right-footed trivela shots, crosses and even corners. From summer 2008 until summer 2012 Dejan was active in the Greek lower divisions and after that he returned to Macedonia to Horizont from Turnovo. From that point he was for years one of the best players in the 1.MFL just with short stints inbetween in Azerbaijan and Albania.
Highlights:
In his prime in the Macedonian top tier he was a player counted as “unstoppable”. With his quick moves and dribblings he was constantly able to escape his opponents and to score and assist. In the season 2013/14 he managed to be the top scorer of the 1.MFL season even though he played just 18 games during the first half-season for Horizont. He left in the winter to sign for Xəzər in Azerbaijan.
Despite only playing 4 games (1 goal) for the Macedonian senior national team and not being very successful abroad, Dejan still achieved a legend status among the fans of the Macedonian league due to his great and spectacular games for the domestic teams.
