A huge incident occurred in the fourth league “OFL Veles” during the game between Mladost Veles and Ilinden BS.
As MacedonianFootball.com finds out, a player on the home team was severely injured by a visiting team player prior to the end of the game. In the 80th minute of the Round 13 match between Mladost Veles and Ilinden BS, which finished 1:0 for the home side, a player of Mladost made a tackle and the referee immediately whistled for a free kick. However, the fouled player did not react well to the bad challenge and started beating his opponent who later had to be taken to a hospital with severe injuries. The referee showed red cards to both players.
The incident was reported to the police that was present at the stadium, and now the Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM) must discipline those responsible for the incident in order to prevent this type of behavior on the football pitch in the future.
