Goran Pandev has not been included in the Napoli squad for tomorrow’s Champions League encounter against Bayern München.

There was some talk that Pandev had an outside shot of making the squad since he was close to recovering from his injury but that was put to rest today as Napoli manager Walter Mazzarri did not include Pandev in the squad.  Mazzarri felt Pandev was still not ready and kept him out for the game.

Pandev has been suffering from a muscle strain injury on his left leg which occurred during the Inter vs. Napoli game several weeks ago.  The injury also forced Pandev to withdraw from the Macedonian national team for the recent EURO 2012 qualifiers against Armenia and Slovakia earlier in the month.
