Macedonian football legends Goran Pandev, Ilija Najdoski and Agim Ibraimi have been appointed on positions in the government of FFM as earlier today Mr. Masar Omeragikj was elected new president, taking the place of Mr. Muamed Sejdini.

Immediately after the conclusion of the Extraordinary Electoral General Assembly of the Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM), the new president of the FFM, Mr. Masar Omeragikj, held a meeting with the members of the Federation’s Board of directors.
At the meeting, at the proposal of the president of the FFM, Masar Omeragikj, the members of the FFM Board of Directors elected Marjan Stojkovski from OFS Prilep as vice president of FFM, replacing the previous vice president Lazar Rakidjiev. Stojkovski is former national team midfielder with only 5 appearances, but has been unused substitute on many matches.
The session also confirmed the resignation of Natalia Ilievska-Bozhinovska from the position of secretary general. Drilog Ganiu, previously the deputy chief of operations at the House of Football, has been appointed acting secretary general of FFM.
At the proposal of the new president of FFM, Macedonian football legend Goran Pandev has been appointed sports director of all Macedonian national teams. With 122 caps in the Macedonian top and 38 goals scored, Pandev is absolute recorder in the national team.
“Masar Omeragiкј is the best solution for the presidential position of FFM. I wish patience and success on the path forward for Macedonian football.” – said Pandev.
One of the greats of Macedonian football, former defender Ilija Najdoski, along with our former national team player, attacker Agim Ibraimi, have been appointed as advisors in the cabinet of the FFM president. Najdoski, who played for former Yugoslavia at the 1990 FIFA World Cup, has 11 caps and 1 goal for Yugoslavia and 10 caps for Macedonia. Ibraimi, in his career made 40 appearances for Macedonia scoring 7 goals, 4 of which from the spot.
“We made the right choice. Leadership is for people with vision and determination. Better days are coming for Macedonian football.” – commented Ibraimi.
