No surprises in the 24th round of the First League, as all the favorites managed to win.
After Shkendija defeated Rabotnichki 0:1 yesterday, Vardar needed the win so they could keep the gap of 5 points. They had one of the hardest tasks as they visited in-city rivals Shkupi. The reigning champions managed to win the game with a goal scored by Juan Felipe in the 68th minute, right after he first took a penalty which was saved by Shkupi’s keeper. During the match the home fans were hostile towards Goran Popov, Vardar’s left back who made some comments about them in the past.

Sileks defeated Renova 1:0 with a goal from the 11 meters spot taken by Igor Nedeljkovic in the 73rd minute. With this win Sileks have made a huge step towards an UEFA Europa League spot in the next season as they are now three points ahead of Shkupi who are not eligible for European License, 4 ahead of Rabotnichki and 10 before Turnovo.

Bregalnica had an easy task against relegation favorites Mladost. They have outclassed them away and celebrated a 0:5 win. The home team finished the match with 9 players, while Bregalnica saw one red card for them. It is worth mentioning that former Mladost manager Zdravko Cvetanoski took over Bregalnica so his debut was against his former club and it was a very successful one. The home team have reinstalled Kire Sterjov as their manager.
