After several weeks of speculation, Orduspor finally announced on their website that Jovan Kostovski’s contract has been terminated.
Newly promoted Turkish club Orduspor officially announced on their website today that the contract of Macedonian attacker Jovan Kosotvski has been terminated. It went on to add that Kostovski made a positive contribution to the team last year and they wanted to thank him for his time spent at Turkey. Orduspor also wished him success with his next team. Kostovski did help Orduspor get promoted to the Turkish top division and was in good form to close the year but they still decided against bringing back Kostovski for this upcoming season.
The biggest problem for Kostovski was lack of consistency and he even changed positions when Orduspor hired a new manager midway through the season last year. Kostovski is still only 24 years old and was formerly a member of the Macedonian U21 national team. He has played for two Macedonian teams in Vardar and Metalurg and has also played in Greece with OFI Crete.
