Nikola Tonev will continue his career in the Russian First Division club Volgar-Gazprom from Astrakhan.

The former member of the Macedonian youth national team is born on the 12th of November 1985 is Stip. He started his career at FK Bregalnica Stip and has also played for FK Vardar Skopje, FK Shkendija 79 Tetovo and Czech club FK Baník Most before moving to FK Taraz in Kazakhstan.

With the help of his managers Saso Stefanov and Aleksandar Akaliev, Tonev moved to FK Volgar-Gazprom and signed a 1,5-years-long contract with the high ambitious Russian club sponsored by the largest gas extractor company Gazprom.
