Nikola Karcev, the macedonian defender who has played for Albanian team KF Elbasani this season, is close to signing a contract with Romanian Pandurii Lignitul.
As Romanian media reported, Pandurii are interested in signing Karcev. Pandurii have finished 12th on the table this season. Nikola Karcev had a very good season in Elbasani and was voted for the best player by the fans and his team finished on the 4th place. He played on 22 matches and has managed to score 3 goals, though his main position is the defense. Karcev (born on 31.03.1981) has also 2 caps for the national team. Before leaving in Albania, he played for FK Partizan Beograd, where he started his career as youth, and in Macedonian teams FK Pelister Bitola and FK Rabotnicki Skopje. As the romanian sports newspaper GSP.ro has stated, Pandurii's manager Eugen Neagoe is very pleased with Karcev's abilities. His contract with Elbasani has ended and he is now free to leave the club. Pandurii are offering a transfer fee of 150.000 Euros.
