The attacker of Turnovo got a new suspension, this time for 4 games.
After being suspended for 6 months (later reduced to 4) for punching an assistant referee during the First League match between Bregalnica and Turnovo in Round 13, the younger brother of Goran Pandev got suspended again. And again for punching someone, as this time he elbowed Vardar’s central defender Radenko Bojović. The incident happened last weekend during the Round 20 game when his Turnovo hosted the table leaders. Pandev was sent off for that foul in the 73rd minute, while his team lost 2:0.
He already missed one game under the suspension as Turnovo played in the Macedonian Cup semi-final, while the next 3 that he will miss are the First League games againstÂÂ Metalurg (Round 21 away), Pelister (R22 away) and Bregalnica (R23 home). He will be available for the second semi-final Cup leg against Teteks scheduled for 15 April.
