Naumoski goal leads Mattersburg past Austria Wien

Ilco Naumoski scored his sixth goal of the season to lead Mattersburg to a 2:0 home victory over Austria Wien.

Ilco Naumoski started for Mattersburg and played until the 84th minute when he was substituted by Ivan Parlov.  Naumoski opened the scoring in the 16th minute when he got past visiting defender Manuel Ortlechner before slotting a shot past the Austria Wien keeper to the bottom left corner.

Mattersburg kept the 1:0 lead until the 74th minute when the home side made it 2:0.  Naumoski contributed on the second goal when he played a good ball over the top to Patrick Farkas whose cross was then met by the header of Michael Mörz to the back of the net.  Austria Wien also finished the game with 10 men when one of their players was shown a red card in the 69th minute.

With the win, Mattersburg climbed to 8th place on the table in the Austrian top division while Austria Wien remained in the 3rd position of the standings.
