Muarem will return to Rabotnicki if he is unable to reach a deal with AZAL from Azerbaijan.
Igor Angelovski, the sports director of Rabotnicki, announced in an interview with Macedonian newspaper dnevnik that Muarem Muarem will strengthen Rabotnicki by early next week if he is unable to reach an agreement with AZAL. Muarem is currently negotiating with the club from Azerbaijan but if the deal falls through, he will sign with Rabotnicki. AZAL features former Macedonian international in Robert Petrov who is the starting RB for the team. Muarem used to play for Rabotnicki before he joined Turkish club Orduspor last season. However, earlier this month, Orduspor and Muarem agreed to mutually terminate his contract which made Muarem a free agent.
Due to the good performances of some Rabotnicki players during the Europa League qualifications, some key players are expected to leave the club after the two games against Anorthosis. According to dnevnik, Krste Velkoski is expected to transfer to a club in South Korea, captain Borce Manevski will surely leave but it won’t be to Rijeka as that potential transfer has fallen through, while Blaze Todorovski and Stole Dimitrievski will also pursue transfers abroad. The four players mentioned are all starters for Rabotnicki but the club feels good about some other younger players on the team and will sell if they receive offers that match the market value of the mentioned players.
