“We are looking forward to the new meeting and strong matches against Croatia and Czechia, two teams that will play at the EURO. The national team consists of players who have confirmed that they can compete with the strongest European teams. We remain loyal to the players who played great matches in the second part of the qualifiers for the EURO, especially against the big favorites England and Italy. Regardless of the form or the status in their clubs, they will be here for our main goal – the Nations League and the challenges that await us from September”, said head the coach about why he persistently calls players to the national team who do not play in their clubs.

“Darko Velkovski is with us, he is in the final stages of recovery from injury, but regardless of whether he will be able to play, it is important that as one of the most experienced in the team and one of the leaders of the team, he is part of this gathering,” he said for the summing of central defender Velkovski, who received a call even though he has not yet been returned to the green field.

“The two matches in Rijeka against Croatia and Hradec Králové against the Czechia are important for us in the preparations for the September challenges, with a special emphasis on strengthening the good atmosphere and togetherness. We also have to fix some things in the game if we want to see a positive result in the next two matches. We have to do better, I’m aware of that. We create chances, but we have to improve efficiency, get into empty space more, show character. These are matches where there will certainly not be a lack of motivation, and we need to enter seriously, responsibly and firmly”, concluded the Milevski, who actually made the statement through the official website of FFM, because he did not hold a press-conference.

The gathering of the national team is scheduled in Skopje on May 27 at 12.00 CET. First, on June 3 at 19:00 CET, we play against Croatia in Rijeka, and then on the 10th at 18:00 CET against Czechia in the picturesque town of Hradec Králové.
