Milevski announces squad for last Nations League matches

Macedonian national team coach Blagoja Milevski today announced the list of players called up for the matches against Latvia and the Faroe Islands.

These two matches are the last of the new season in the Nations League, and the Lynx only need to confirm the first place, but it is important to record two victories for the final ranking, which can further take us to the play-offs for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The list of 27 names includes three debutantes that are former youth NT players. Those are: goalkeeper Marko Alchevski, right winger Behar Feta, who can also play as a right back, and midfielder Sefer Emini.

Tihomir Kostadinov is injured, while right back Ahmed Iljazovski isn’t summoned as Milevski is not pleased with his performance. After the injury, attacker Kristijan Trapanovski is back in the national team, but he is questionable as has an injury, same as CB Visar Musliu..

Macedonia plays its last two matches at home. First, on November 14 (Thursday) we welcome Latvia, and three days later, on the 17th (Sunday), we play against the Faroe Islands, the only team that managed to take a point from us this season.
