Milevski and Bardhi attended the press before Malta

At today’s press-conference ahead of the 2024 EURO qualifying match against Malta were present national team coach Blagoja Milevski and captain Enis Bardhi.

“Of course, this match against Malta is the most important at the moment. Malta showed at the match in Skopje that they are a quality team, they fight hard and are aggressive. We cannot be less concentrated, we have to give everything. The lads are very much aware what this match means” – said Milevski.

“I want get a bit back in time and reassure ourselves what it means to enter the pitch united, as we are one. Tomorrow we have a big test ahead of us. We must give our best and play with cool heads” – said Bardhi.

Milevski added that all summoned players are candidates to play in this match and that he will not select the players by their club playing time. However, for some players the medical staff will have to give an approval.

“Unfortunately Dimitrievski payed the price for the bad oitch in Skopje. shishkovski is a great keeper and I have full confidence in him” – added Milevski regarding the goalkeeper place. Today Shkendija’s keeper Davor Taleski flew to Malta to take the 3rd keeper place.

Malta will host Macedonia at the stadium Grawnd Nazzjonali Ta’ Qali on Tuesday at 20.45 CET.
