Goran Pandev makes his debut with Inter, while Grncarov and APOEL face off against Nuredinoski and Sikov from Ethnikos Achnas.

Goran Pandev made his debut with Inter who were made to work at Chievo to secure all 3 points.  Inter scored their goal on a counter attack when Pandev received a long pass and then he passed it to Wesley Sneijder who found Balotelli all alone with the keeper and his first shot was iniatilly saved but there was nothing the goalkeeper could do on the rebound.  Balotelli’s shot clearly crossed the line before Pandev headed it in.  He also played a nice 1-2 with Wesley Sneijder in the 35th minute before he was substituted in the 67th minute for Portuguese Ricardo Quaresma.

Cyprus, Cyprus Cup, APOEL – Ethnikos Achnas 0:2
Boban Grncarov started and played all 90 minutes for APOEL who surprisingly lost at home to Ethnikos Achnas.  The defending champions from Cyprus could not score past Edin Nuredinoski who made a number of good saves including in the 71st minute when he stopped a header from close range from Serbian attacker Nenad Mirosavljevic.  Also for Ethnikos Achnas, Macedonian defender Vance Sikov played all 90 minutes.
