Several Macedonian internationals were in action during midweek matches and here is a recap of their performances:
Russia, Perviy Divizion, Torpedo Moskva – Sibir 1:1
Velice Sumulikoski did not play for Sibir since he was with the Macedonian national team while Artim Polozani started for Torpedo Moskva and played until the 47th minute when he was replaced by Elbrus Zurayev. Polozani also picked up a yellow card in the 9th minute.
Switzerland, Challenge League, Lugano – Aarau 3:1
Aco Stojkov started for Aarau and played until the 62nd minute when he was replaced by Shkelzen Gashi. Stojkov created his best chance in the 45th minute but his effort went wide of the goal. Aarau suffered their first loss of the season during the third round of the Swiss second division.
France, Coupe de la Ligue, Amiens – Le Havre 2:1
Vlade Lazarevski made his debut for Amiens by starting at RB and playing all 90 minutes as his side recorded a come from behind victory. The French club had several players missing due to injuries and suspensions so that gave an opportunity to Lazarevski. Amiens scored two goals in the 80th and 90th minute to collect a dramatic victory that moved Amiens to the next round of the Coupe de la Ligue.
Bulgaria, A PFG, Levski – Slavia Sofia 1:0
Darko Tasevski started on the bench for Levski before he entered the game in the 75th minute replacing Sjoerd Ars. Despite all the rumors linking Tasevski to other teams, he is still with Levski who began the Bulgarian season with a narrow home win against Slavia Sofia.
Czech Republic, Ondrášovka Cup, Chrudim – Mladá Boleslav 0:3
Vladimir Dimitrovski did not play for Mladá Boleslav as he with the Macedonian national team in Azerbaijan. His club advanced to the next round of the Czech Cup.
