Bajram Fetai with an assist for Lyngby, Dusan Savić with a goal for Pakhtakor in a Asian Champions League game, Dragan Cadikovski continued his good form with another goal for Rudar Velenje, while Aleksandar Lazevski with his team Partizan will face Daniel Mojsov and Vojvodina in the Serbian Cup final.


UEFA Champions League, Quarter-finals, Inter – Schalke 04 2:5

Goran Pandev was an unused substitute for Inter who suffered a humiliating loss by conceding five goals at home against Schalke 04.  The Inter attack was creating chances and they played well for the most part but the defending was atrocious.  The Inter defenders struggled throughout the game dealing with headers from crosses even though CB Andrea Ranocchia is 1.95 m tall and was going up against players who were much shorter.  It seems Inter has lost their identity under manager Leonardo as they have looked very shaky on defense over the past couple of games.

UEFA Europa League, Quarter-finals, Dynamo Kyiv – Braga 1:1
Goran Popov started at LB for Dynamo Kyiv and played the entire game as Popov also picked up a yellow card in the 69th minute.  Popov made a nice run in the 16th minute and then made a cross from the right which reached Artem Milevskiy who made a nice backheel pass to Andriy Yarmolenko whose shot was saved by the Braga keeper and it went for a corner.

Russia, First Division, Sibir – Torpedo Moskva 2:0
Velice Sumulikoski started for Sibir and played until the 88th minute when he was replaced by Roger Cañas while Artim Polozani played all 90 minutes for Torpedo Moskva and also picked up a yellow card in the 58th minute.  This was the first round of the 2011 Russian First Division and Sumulikoski was voted by his teammates to become the captain of Sibir for this upcoming season.

Russia, First Division, Sibir – Baltika 3:0
Velice Sumulikoski played all 90 minutes for Sibir and also picked up a yellow card in the 73rd minute as the Russian First Division played two league games within four days on Monday and Thursday.

Russia, First Division, Yenisey – Torpedo Moskva 1:1
Artim Polozani started for Torpedo Moskva and played until the 70th minute when he was replaced by Yevgeni Andreyev.  Polozani attempted a couple of shots but he came closest in the 16th minute but his shot was saved by the opposing keeper and it went for a corner.

Serbia, Lav Kup Srbije, Crvena Zvezda – Partizan 1:0
Aleksandar Lazevski played the entire game for Partizan and had a great chance in the 88th minute but his powerful left footed shot from a good position was saved nicely by the Crvena Zvezda keeper and it went for a corner.  Despite the loss, Partizan advanced to the Serbian Cup final by winning 2:1 on aggregate as they won the first leg 2:0.  Their opponent in the Serbian Cup final will be Vojvodina who also features a Macedonian in Daniel Mojsov.

Serbia, Lav Kup Srbije, Vojvodina – Sevojno 1:0
Daniel Mojsov did not play for Vojvodina because of a yellow cards suspension while Gjorgi Tanusev started on the bench for Sevojno before he entered the game in the 79th minute replacing Francis Bosman.  Vojvodina advanced to the Serbian Cup final by winning 2:0 on aggregate.

Denmark, Superliga, Midtjylland – Lyngby 4:4
Bajram Fetai started for Lyngby and played until the 75th minute when he was replaced by Emil Larsen.  Fetai provided the assist on the second goal for Lyngby in the 26th minute with a beautiful pass to Peter Madsen who scored with a powerful volley past the opposing keeper.

Switzerland, Challenge League, Aarau – Stade Nyonnais 0:4
Both Aco Stojkov and Aleksandar Mitreski played the entire game for Aarau who suffered an embarrassing home loss against Stade Nyonnais.  Stojkov had the best chance for Aarau in the 26th minute but his shot hit the right goal post as Stojkov also received a yellow card in the 89th minute.  Aarau conceded all four goals in the 2nd half in the span of 21 minutes with the first goal by the visitors coming in the 69th minute while the fourth and final goal was scored in the 90th minute.

Bulgaria, Kupa na Bulgaria, Litex – Levski 1:1  (Litex Lovech advanced 4:2 on penalties)
Darko Tasevski started for Levski and played until the 69th minute when he was replaced by Aleksandar Aleksandrov.  The score was 1:1 after 90 minutes so it went into extra time where neither team could score so it ultimately went to penalties where Litex prevailed 4:2 and eliminated Levski from the Bulgarian Cup.

Bulgaria, Kupa na Bulgaria, Lokomotiv Plovdiv – Pirin 1:2
Dragi Kocev played the 1st half for Lokomotiv Plovdiv but failed to impress so he was substituted at the start of the 2nd half by Jérémie Rodrigues.  With the loss, Lokomotiv Plovdiv was eliminated from the Bulgarian Cup.

Romania, Liga I Bergenbier, Dinamo Bucureşti – Braşov 2:1
Kristijan Naumovski started on the bench for Dinamo Bucureşti before he entered the game in the 86th minute replacing the injured starting keeper Emilian Dolha.

Slovenia, 1. SNL, Nafta Lendava – Rudar Velenje 1:2
Agim Ibraimi played all 90 minutes for Nafta Lendava while Dragan Cadikovski started for Rudar Velenje and played until the 79th minute when he was replaced by Mirza Mešić.  Cadikovski continued his good form when he opened the scoring in the 13th minute as his team was able to hang on to a slim road victory.  Both Ibraimi and Cadikovski also picked up yellow cards during the game.

Italy, Campionato Primavera, Sassuolo Primavera – Parma Primavera 1:2
Stefan Ristovski played the entire game for the Parma Primavera team as all three goals in this game were scored from penalty kicks.

AFC Champions League, Group B, Esteghlal – Pakhtakor 4:2
Dusan Savić started for Pakhtakor and played until the 84th minute when he was replaced by Sanat Shikhov.  Savić opened the scoring for his team in the 4th minute but the home team bounced back to pick up the victory.  Pakhtakor is currently last place in Group B of the Asian Champions League with only one point from three games.

Moldova, Divizia Naţională, Iskra-Stal Rîbniţa – Dacia 0:1
Goran Dimovski played all 90 minutes for Dacia.

Moldova, Divizia Naţională, Olimpia Bălţi – Sheriff 1:0
Jasmin Mecinovic was an unused substitute for Sheriff.

Hungary, Magyar Ligakupa, Debrecen – Paksi SE 2:1
Mirsad Mijadinoski played the entire game for Debrecen.

Kazakhstan, Premier League, Shakhter Karagandy – Lokomotiv Astana 0:0
Bobi Bozinovski was an unused substitute for Lokomotiv Astana.

Kazakhstan, Premier League, Taraz – Zhetysu 0:1
Ostoja Stjepanovic played all 90 minutes for Taraz.
