Armend Alimi with a goal for Istra in a friendly victory over Sibir, Goran Popov converted a penalty for Dynamo Kyiv to help his side win on penalties over Kuban Krasnodar, while Dragi Kocev played as a guest player for Zenit.

International tournament, Marbella Cup, Dynamo Kyiv – Kuban 0:0  (Dynamo Kyiv won 4:3 on penalties)
Goran Popov played the entire game for Dynamo Kyiv as he recovered from his injury and was pretty active throughout the match.  The match ended 0:0 after 90 minutes so it went directly into penalty kicks where Popov converted his penalty and his side eventually won 4:3 on penalties.

International tournament, Marbella Cup, Zenit – Sparta Praha 1:2
Dragi Kocev, who is a member of Bulgarian club Lokomotv Plovdiv, played all 90 minutes for Zenit as their club was missing a lot of players who were on international duty so they asked Lokomotiv Plovdiv to give them some players for this game against Sparta Praha and Kocev happened to be one of those players.

International tournament, Copa del Sol Final, Karpaty – Shakhtar Donetsk 1:0
Martin Bogatinov did not play as he was with the Macedonian national team so Karpaty started Vitaliy Rudenko at keeper while Andriy Tlumak was on the bench as the #2 keeper.  With the win, Karpaty Lviv won the Copa del Sol and will be awarded 40,000 euros for winning the tournament while Shakhtar Donetsk will take home 30,000 euros for finishing in second place.

Italy, Campionato Primavera, Parma Primavera – Bologna Primavera 2:1
Stefan Ristovski started at RB and played all 90 minutes for the Parma Primavera team while his teammate Agron Bufi was not called up.

Friendly, Istra 1961 – Sibir 2:1
Armend Alimi started for Istra 1961 and played until the 75th minute when he was replaced by Paolo Grbac while Velice Sumulikoski did not play for Sibir as he was with the Macedonian national team.  Alimi scored the game winning goal for Istra 1961 in the 61st minute as they won their first friendly during their preparations in Turkey.

Darko Tasevski did not play for Levski as he was with the Macedonian national team while Zlatko Tanevski played from the start for GKS Bełchatów.

Friendly, Debrecen – Mladá Boleslav 2:1
Both Mirsad Mijadinoski of Debrecen and Vladimir Dimitrovski of Mladá Boleslav played the entire game for their respective teams.

Ilija Nestorovski started on the bench for Slovácko before he entered the game in the 70th minute replacing Petr Švancara.

Friendly, Unirea Urziceni – Inter Zaprešić 0:2
Both Aleksandar Trajkovski and Goran Todorcev played the 2nd half for Inter Zaprešić while Zlatko Boskovski played from the start for Unirea.  According to Macedonian newspaper dnevnik, Boskovski has signed a 1 year deal with Unirea Urziceni after satisfying the Romanian club with his performances during the five friendly matches that he played for the club.
