Nestorovski (on the ball) had three goals and an assist; photo: Inter Zaprešić facebook pageIlija Nestorovski added three more goals and an assist for Inter Zaprešić, Daniel Georgievski made an important goal line clearance for Steaua, while Bajram Fetai received bad news in that he will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.

 

UEFA Champions League, Group F, Marseille – Napoli 1:2
Goran Pandev stayed on the bench for Napoli as an unused substitute.

UEFA Champions League, Group E, Steaua – Basel 1:1
Daniel Georgievski played all 90 minutes for Steaua and made an important goal line clearance in the 12th minute to deny Basel defender Ivan Ivanov.  After a corner kick, the ball eventually reached Ivanov whose effort from close range was headed away by Georgievski to prevent a surefire goal.  Daniel was also shown a yellow card in the 65th minute.

UEFA Europa League, Group A, Valencia – St. Gallen 5:1
Muhamed Demiri opened the game on the bench for St. Gallen before he was introduced at the start of the 2nd half to take the place of Dejan Janjatovic.  St. Gallen was losing 4:0 at halftime on their way to the heavy road defeat.

Poland, Puchar Polski, Wisła Kraków – Lechia Gdańsk 0:1
Ostoja Stjepanovikj started in defensive midfield for Wisła Kraków and played until the 69th minute when he was replaced by Paweł Stolarski.  With the loss, Wisła Kraków was eliminated from the Polish Cup.

Slovakia, Slovenský Pohár, Tatran Prešov – Košice 1:2
Darko Tofiloski played from the start for Košice and conceded one goal in the 61st minute via a penalty kick.  Tofiloski also received a yellow card in the 84th minute for time wasting.

Sweden, Allsvenskan, Halmstad – Mjällby 1:0
Daniel Ivanovski played the entire game for Mjällby who suffered a slim loss by conceding the lone goal in the 80th minute.

Azerbaijan, Azerbaycan Superkuboku, Khazar – Neftçi 2:1
Both Nikola Gligorov of Khazar and Igor Mitreski of Neftçi were unused substitutes for their respective teams.  Khazar managed to win the Super Cup trophy in a very chippy match that concluded with a total of 12 yellow cards, including one red card for a Khazar player in the 64th minute after he was shown his second yellow card of the game.

Turkey, PTT 1. Lig, Mersin – Denizlispor 0:1
Bajram Fetai was not included in the 18 player squad for Denizlispor due to an injury.  Fetai reported on his twitter feed that he will miss the rest of the season with a serious knee injury.

Cyprus, Coca Cola Cup, Omonia Aradippou – Ermis 0:5
Armend Alimi did not feature for Ermis who easily got past Omonia Aradippou to reach the next round of the Cypriot Cup.

Cyprus, Coca Cola Cup, PAEEK – Aris Limassol 0:1
Filip Timov played from the start for Aris Limassol who needed a late goal in the 80th minute from Mihai Dina to down PAEEK and advance to the next round of the competition.

Japan, J2 League, Yokohama – Gifu 2:2
Bazhe Ilijoski opened on the bench for Gifu before he made a late appearance in stoppage time of the 90th minute to take the place of Stipe Plazibat.

Slovenia, Pokal Slovenije, Olimpija – Domžale 2:0
Zeni Husmani played all 90 minutes for Domžale and created his lone chance in the 68th minute through a free kick that went just wide of the goal.

Slovenia, Pokal Slovenije, Rudar – Celje 4:0
Dragan Chadikovski got the start for Celje and played until the 72nd minute when he made way for Andraž Žurej.

Croatia, 2. HNL, Inter Zaprešić – Solin 5:0
Ilija Nestorovski played the entire game for Inter Zaprešić and scored three more goals in the 8th, 37th and 77th minute, the second coming on a converted penalty kick.  Nestorovski also provided the assist on the fifth goal in the 90th minute when his cross was headed home by Davor Rogač.
