South Korea, K-League League Cup Final, Pohang Steelers – Busan I’Park 5:1
Stevica Ristić won the Korean League Cup after his team trashed Busan with 5:1. The first leg finished with an 1:1 draw. This was Pohang’s second League Cup title since they have one from 1993.

UEFA Champions League, Group D, Atlético Madrid (Spain) – APOEL (Cyprus) 1:1
Boban Grncarov came in instead Portuguese international Paulo Jorge Soares Gomes in the injury time of the first half and helped APOEL to stay undefeated at Vicente Calderón.

UEFA Europa League, Group B, Genoa (Italy) – Slavia Praha (Czech) 2:0
Riste Naumov came in instead Zdeněk Šenkeřík at half-time but failed to help his Slavia.

UEFA Europa League, Group D, Heerenveen (Netherlands) – Sporting (Portugal) 2:3
Goran Popov assisted to Gerald Sibon when he scored for 1:0 in the 12th minute. Popov was later substituted in the 52nd minuteby Viktor Elm.

UEFA Europa League, Group G, Villareal (Spain) – Levski Sofia (Bulgaria) 1:0
Darko Tasevski played until the 66th minute when Saša Simonović took his place for Levski.

England, League Championship, Scunthorpe – Preston North End 3:1
Velice Sumulikoski played the whole game for Preston.
