The U18 team of Metalurg drew 1:1 against their counterparts from Italian club Inter during Friday’s game in Switzerland.

The U18 teams of Metalurg, Inter and six other clubs are currently in Switzerland as part of the “Torneo Bellinzona.”  The eight teams were divided into two groups and Metalurg and Inter found itself in Group A together with Tomaya Daiichi (Japan) and Team Ticino (Switzerland).

On Friday, Metalurg U18 managed to draw 1:1 against Inter U18 with the scorer for Metalurg being attacker Bobi Georgiev.  A day earlier, on Thursday, Metalurg lost 3:0 against Tomaya Daiichi.  They play again on Saturday when Metalurg takes on Team Ticino.

This year’s “Torneo Bellinzona” is the 74th edition of the youth tournament held in Switzerland.
