Metalurg close to signing two players

Metalurg is close to capturing the signature of both striker Ilija Nestorovski and young Serbian midfielder Ninoslav Karapandžić.

Metalurg has focused on getting younger under manager Gjorgji Hristov, a former Macedonian international.  The club has already signed 20-year-old Filip Mitrevski from Ohrid and according to the club website, Metalurg is on the verge of signing 21-year-old striker Ilija Nestorovski and 19-year-old attacking midfielder Ninoslav Karapandžić.  The talks are almost done between Metalurg and Czech side Slovácko, Nestorovski’s team, and Ilija will likely continue his career with the Skopje based club.  Meanwhile, Ninoslav Karapandžić used to play for the Partizan youth system and will join Metalurg after meeting the criteria of the club scout Bojan Mihajlović.

At Metalurg, Nestorovski will likely replace Baze Ilijoski who is expected to sign a contract with Romanian side Brașov.  Metalurg has also summoned 16-year-old Dime Ivanov to the first team as the player is viewed as one of the most talented youngsters in the youth categories of the club.
