National team goalkeeper, Martin Bogatinov, has signed a 3-years-long contract with Ukrainian side Karpaty.
Today, Martin Bogatinov was officialy presented as the new goalkeeper of Karpaty from the city of Lviv. The 24-years-old keeper joined the Green Lions as a best player in the Macedonian First League. His performances for rabotnicki in the Europa League qualification and in the First League were good enough to earn a call from the national team coach Mirsad Jonuz. So far Bogatinov played in 2 friendly games for Macedonia, but was on the bench in few other.
He signed a 3-years-long contract with the option of extention for another 2. The club from Lviv is currently 5th in the Ukrainian Premyer-Liha and will fight for a spot in the Europa League next season.
“I think this is a great step forward in my career. I want to grow up in a football sense, I want to reach the top and play in the best clubs in Europe. It is not even worth comparing the Ukrainian league with the Macedonian. Hopefully here I can develop and help my new team win.” said Bogatinov at his presentation.
Bogatinov player for Rabotnicki before joining Karpaty which is his first international adventure. He has also played for Sileks, where he started his career, Vardar, Cementarnica 55 and Teteks.
