Pelister’s manager Marjan Sekulovski, somewhat unexpectedly, has decided to resign from the Bitola based club.
Although Marjan Sekulovski led Pelister to a good run which has seen the club rise to first place of the Macedonian Second League, he surprised the fans by suddenly resigning from the manager position. The reason was an attractive offer from a Myanmar club which Sekulovski could not turn down financially. Thus, Sekulovski will manage his first international club in Ayeyawady United.
Pelister is currently battling to win promotion back to the Macedonian First League. The club tops the table where they are one point ahead of Drita and six points in front of third placed Skopje. There are five rounds remaining in the season which will see the top two clubs get promoted. Former Pelister player and one of Sekulovski’s assistants, Kire Sterjov, will lead the club in the upcoming fixtures.
