Our U18 national team (born 1999 and younger) took part at the “Federation Cup” tournament in Latvia, together with the hosts Latvia, Ukraine and Norway. Ukraine won the tournament and we finished at the third place.

At the first game against Ukraine, we took the lead in the first half through Dimitar Mitrovski at 25th minute, the assist was provided by Kristijan Trapanovski. Ukraine equalized in the second half with the goal scored by Valery Bondar at 69th minute of the game. It was a very rough game, in the end three Macedonian players left the pitch injured.

At the second game of the tournament our national team was much better rival then Latvia. We played excellent first half when we scored all three goals through Mitrovski at 24th and 39th minute and Bogdanovski at 44th minute of the game. Darko Churlinov, who today maybe will make his debut for the Macedonian senior national team, provided the assist for the first game, while Mitrovski’s second goal was a penalty and Churlinov was the player fouled in the box. Ferukoski made the assist for our last goal. Later on, Purinis scored the only goal for Latvia at 75th minute.

We played the final game against Norway and it was our worst game at this tournament. Norway took the lead at 31st minute when Pedersen converted a penalty kick. Untill the end of the first half Hauge scored for Norway at 37th minute and Mitrovski for Macedonia at 44th minute after an assist by Todoroski. At the second half Vinjor has set the final score with the goal at 88th minute of the game.
