Goran Pandev returned from his knee injury quicker than expected and actually started for Inter and had a very good game. He was very active early in the game and then in the 32nd minute, he sent a beautiful long pass to Diego Milito whose shot was saved by the Palermo keeper Sirigu. In the 58th minute, Pandev again sent a good low cross to Milito but again Milito’s shot from close range was wide of the goal. Then in the 84th minute, Pandev showed some great skill getting past Palermo defenders but his shot was just wide of the left post. Finally, Pandev seemed tired and was substituted in the 88th minute when Mariga took his place.
Germany, 1. Bundesliga, Werder Bremen – Mainz 05 0:2
Nikolce Noveski and Mainz maintained their perfect start with four wins in four games as they are now all alone in first place in the German Bundesliga. Noveski, who is the captain of Mainz, played the entire game and had another solid game as his team didn’t concede a goal.

Oka Nikolov played all 90 minutes for Eintracht while Aleksandar Vasoski was not called up for the second consecutive game as he continues to be given a break by his manager Michael Skibbe following knee surgery. The only goal of the game was scored by the visitors in the 89th minute.
