Tome Pacovski fractures his fibula and tibia and will be out for at least six months, Velice Sumulikoski makes his debut with Sibir, Goran Pandev and Inter win the Trofeo TIM trophy, while Aco Stojkov and Dejan Miloseski score a goal for their respective teams.
Italy, Trofeo TIM, Inter – Juventus 1:0
Goran Pandev played all 45 minutes for Inter on Friday and was very active despite playing 90 minutes for the Macedonian national team two days earlier. Trofeo TIM is an annual preseason tournament played by Inter, Juventus, and Milan. They all end up playing each other and each game is 45 minutes long. Pandev first showed his skill early in the game when he controlled a long pass and sent in a cross for Samuel Eto’o whose header was off target. Pandev then had two shots on goal in the 9th and 32nd minute but his first shot was deflected by a defender for a corner while his second shot was saved by the Juve keeper for another corner.
Italy, Trofeo TIM, Inter – Milan 0:0 (Inter won 3:2 on penalties)
Goran Pandev did not play for Inter as manager Rafa Benitez made several changes from the team that faced Juventus. After 45 minutes, the score was 0:0 but Inter won 3:2 on penalties and won the Trofeo TIM trophy for the sixth time in their history.
Germany, DFB-Pokal, Berlin AK 07 – Mainz 05 1:2
Nikolce Noveski played all 90 minutes for Mainz while Dragan Georgiev was not called up. Mainz is still looking for a team in the German 2. Bundesliga where they would loan Georgiev as they think it’s very important for him to be a regular so he can continue to develop.

Oka Nikolov played the entire game for Eintracht and kept a clean sheet while Aleksandar Vasoski was an unused substitute.
Ukraine, Vyshcha Liha, Vorskla Poltava – Dynamo Kyiv 3:1
Goran Popov played all 90 minutes for Dynamo Kyiv who suffered a surprising loss away to Vorskla Poltava. The next game for Dynamo Kyiv is on August 17th in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League play-off round against Ajax.
Russia, Premier-Liga, Spartak Nalchik – Sibir Novosibirsk 4:2
Velice Sumulikoski made his debut for Sibir and played the entire game. He ran for nearly 11 kilometers and also picked up a yellow card in the 50th minute. Sibir took the lead in the 14th minute and deserved better in this game but the referee awarded two questionable penalties to Nalchik while in the 90th minute he gave a Sibir player a yellow card for diving when he went down in the box. It was 3:2 at that point but Nalchik scored the 4th goal in the second minute of stoppage time to put the game away.
Russia, Premier-Liga, Tom’ Tomsk – Krylya Sovetov 1:1
Goran Maznov began the game on the bench for Tom’ Tomsk before he came on in the 76th minute replacing Vladislav Khatazhenkov.

Tome Pacovski started for Germinal Beerschot and conceded a goal in the 4th minute before he suffered a fractured fibula and tibia and had to be stretchered off the field in the 7th minute. After the game, the Germinal Beerschot doctor announced that Pacovski was given painkillers and then taken to the hospital where he was diagnosed with the serious injury. The doctor said that Pacovski will be out at least six months. It’s a big blow for the Macedonian national team as Tome was the #1 keeper but now someone else must step up.

Romania, Liga I Bergenbier, Dinamo Bucureşti – Rapid Bucureşti 3:2
Kristijan Naumovski started at keeper for Dinamo Bucureşti and looked much more comfortable than last week. He conceded two goals in the 1st half but he could do little on both goals as the marking of the Dinamo defenders was terrible. Dinamo regrouped at halftime and dominated the 2nd half by scoring three goals including an incredible goal by youngster Gabriel Torje. Naumovski made some very good saves in the 2nd half including a save from a free kick in the 68th minute and then a minute later, he made a great diving save on a header and it went for a corner. His final key save was in the 88th minute to preserve Dinamo’s lead as his team went on to hold on and get a dramatic win.
Austria, ÖFB-Stiegl-Cup, Stegersbach – Mattersburg 0:1 (match abandoned)
Ilco Naumoski was supposed to serve the final game of his suspension but the match was abandoned after 27 minutes because of heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning. Mattersburg was leading 1:0 after 27 minutes but this match will not count and Mattersburg and Stegersback will now play on August 17th with the score 0:0 and the game lasting 90 minutes. Naumoski will be eligible to play for Mattersburg on August 22nd when his team plays away to Rapid Wien.
Bulgaria, A PFG, Chernomorets – Levski Sofia 2:1
Darko Tasevski started for Levski and played until the 59th minute when he was replaced by Aleksandar Aleksandrov who scored the only goal for Levski in the 77th minute.
