Macedonian internationals performances

Ilija NestorovskiMirsad Mijadinoski and Zoran Baldovaliev scored again for their respective teams, while Ilija Nestorovski makes his debut for Slovacko.

Italy, Serie A, Inter – Genoa 0:0
Goran Pandev once again started at left wing in Inter’s 4-2-3-1 formation.  He also exchanged places with Mario Balotelli and played on the right side as well.  In Inter’s formation, Pandev is asked to drop back and play defense which is not really his game.  Inter was quiet in the 1st half and Genoa was committing a lot of fouls to slow down Inter who beat Genoa 5:0 earlier in the year.  They were clipping their heels from behind and Pandev seemed badly hurt in the 44th minute when he stayed down for several minutes but thankfully he was able to continue.  Inter started slowly in the 2nd half so they decided to make a change and brought on Samuel Eto’o to take Pandev’s place in the 61st minute.  Inter couldn’t break down Genoa and the game finished 0:0.

Germany, 1. Bundesliga, Eintracht FrankfurtSchalke 04 1:4
Oka Nikolov played the entire game for Eintracht who conceded two quick goals in the first half, one on a header from a corner kick and the other on a header from a set piece situation.  Eintracht made it 1:2 in the 52nd minute before Schalke scored two late goals and won 4:1.  Aleksandar Vasoski remains out with an injury for Eintracht while for Schalke, Besart Ibraimi was an unused substitute.

Germany, 1. Bundesliga, HoffenheimMainz 0:1
Nikolce Noveski wore the captain’s armband for Mainz and had another solid showing in defense.  He played the entire game and the lone goal of the game was scored in the 69th minute by Bance.

France, Ligue 1, Auxerre – Valenciennes 1:0
Robert Popov was not among the 18 players called up by Auxerre.

Netherlands, Eredivisie, AZ – Heerenveen 4:1
Goran Popov returned to the starting lineup after being benched last week but Heerenveen continued their disappointing year with another poor showing.  Popov played all 90 minutes for the visitors who took the lead before AZ scored four consecutive goals.

England, League Championship, Plymouth – Preston North End 1:1
Velice Sumulikoski was once again not called up by Preston North End.

Switzerland, Axpo Super League, St. Gallen – Aarau 2:2
Aco Stojkov had another solid game for Aarau.  He had one assist and was very active throughout the game.  His team had a 2:0 lead and Stojkov had a chance to make it 3:0 in the 71st minute but his shot hit the post.  St. Gallen dominated the last 20 minutes and scored twice to earn a point.  Stojkov was substituted off in the 90th minute as Aarau seemed content with getting a point.  Aarau remains last place in the Swiss League but they are now only 4 points behind Bellinzona.

Switzerland, Axpo Super League, Sion – Bellinzona 2:1
Aleksandar Mitreski started for Sion and played until the 57th minute.

Austria, T-Mobile Bundesliga, Austria Kärnten – Mattersburg 2:4
Goce Sedloski and Ostoja Stjepanovic started on the bench for Mattersburg while Ilco Naumoski was serving the first of his four game suspension for his antics last week.  Sedloski came on at the start of the 2nd half for Mattersburg who were down 1:0 at that point but they immediately started to play better and tied the game in the 47th minute.  They went on to score three more goals to make it 4:1 before Karnten scored a penalty kick goal in the 87th minute to make it 4:2.  Stjepanovic stayed on the bench for the whole game.  Karnten is last place in the Austrian Bundesliga and they played the match with 10 men for the majority of the game after one of their players received a red card in the 3rd minute while Mattersburg move up to 5th place in the standings.

Austria, T-Mobile Bundesliga, RB Salzburg – Magna Wr Neustadt 1:1
Mensur Kurtisi started on the bench for the visitors before he came on at the start of the 2nd half replacing Michael Stanislaw.  Magna were down 1:0 at halftime but Kurtisi brought some creativity and they started to look more dangerous.  Kurtisi played a part in Magna’s equalizer in the 83rd minute as he took a long free kick that was initially saved by the Salzburg keeper but Hannes Aigner scored on the rebound to make it 1:1.  A good result for Magna against the current leaders in Austria who also went undefeated in their Europa League group that included Villareal, Lazio, and Levski Sofia.

Belgium, Jupiler League, Germinal Beerschot – Zulte-Waregem 1:1
Tome Pacovski played all 90 minutes for Germinal who fell behind in the 8th minute before they equalized in the 90th minute.  Pacovski made a great save in the 48th minute to keep his team in the game and that proved to be a huge save as Germinal equalized later on and took a point from the game.

Belgium, Jupiler League, Cercle Brugge – Lokeren 4:0

Igor Gjuzelov did not play for Cercle Brugge.

Belgium, EXQI League, Lierse – Ronse 2:2
Nderim Nedzipi did not enter the game for the home team.

Ukraine, Vyshcha Liha, Vorskla Poltava – Metalurg Zaporizhya 1:1
Filip Despotovski was an unused substitute for Vorskla.

Poland, Orange Ekstraklasa, Lechia Gdansk – Polonia Warszawa  1:1
Filip Ivanovski was dropped from the starting lineup by Polonia and spent the entire game on the bench.

Poland, Orange Ekstraklasa, Lech Poznan – Cracovia Krakow 3:1
Zlatko Tanevski did not play for the home team.

Poland, Orange Ekstraklasa, Legia Warszawa – Odra Wodzislaw 0:1
Pance Kumbev was not called up for this game by Legia.

Czech Republic, 1. Gambrinus Liga, Slovacko – Brno 0:2
Ilija Nestorovski made his debut for Slovacko when he entered the game in the 57th minute replacing Lukas Fujerik.  The score was 0:0 when Nestorovski came on but Brno quickly scored in the 64th minute and then finished off Slovacko in the 90th minute when Dosek made it 2:0.  Nestorovski had a chance in the 77th minute but his shot was off the mark.

Hungary, Soproni Liga, Lombard Papa – Debreceni 1:5
Mirsad Mijadinoski scored a goal for the second straight week for his team Debreceni.  It started horribly for Mijadinoski as he conceded a penalty in the 11th minute as he pulled down an opposing player in the box but he bounced back and scored a goal in the 40th minute to give his team a 3:1 lead.  Debreceni added two more and won easily 5:1.  Mijadinoski also received a yellow card.

Bulgaria, A PFG, Beroe – CSKA Sofia 0:0
Igor Mitreski played all 90 minutes for the visitors and played well in defense.

Bulgaria, A PFG, Lokomotiv Mezdrav – Slavia Sofia 0:0

Robert Petrov played the entire game for Slavia Sofia.

Croatia, T-Com 1.HNL, Rijeka – Cibalia Vinkovci 1:1
Vlade Lazarevski played all 90 minutes for the home team.

Croatia, T-Com 1.HNL, Varteks Varazdin – Istra 0:2
Armend Alimi started and played until the 87th minute for Istra who were playing their first game under new manager Zoran Vulic.  Alimi assisted on Istra’s 2nd goal and had a couple of shots from distance that were just wide of goal.

Cyprus, Protathlima A’Katigopias, APOEL – AEL 1:0
Boban Grncarov played all 90 minutes for APOEL while Vlatko Grozdanoski started on the bench for AEL before he came on in the 78th minute replacing Dusan Kerkez.

Cyprus, Protathlima A’Katigopias, Enosis Neon Paralimni – Ethnikos Achnas 1:2
Petar Milosevski and Ivan Trickovski started for the home team and Trickovski unleashed a powerful shot that was saved by Edin Nuredinoski but Gonzalez tapped in the rebound and Enosis took the 1:0 lead.  Ethnikos equalized two minutes later and scored the game winner in the 90th minute from a penalty kick.  Bojan Markoski got injured in training for Enosis and was out and so were Vance Sikov and Slavco Georgievski from Ethnikos Achnas.

Cyprus, Protathlima A’Katigopias, Aris – Paphos 2:1
Jane Nikoloski was the 2nd keeper for Paphos.

Serbia, Jelen Superliga, Metalac – Vojvodina 3:1
Mario Gjurovski did not play for Vojvodina while Daniel Mojsov is no longer a member of Vojvodina.  They refused to pay a transfer fee for Mojsov so he has now joined Vardar.

Serbia, Jelen Superliga, Rad – Red Star 1:2
Aleksandar Todorovski played the entire game for Rad and won a penalty for his team in the 90th minute which was converted by Popovic.  It wasn’t enough as Rad suffered a narrow 2:1 loss against Red Star.

Serbia, Jelen Superliga, Partizan – Javor 0:0
Aleksandar Lazevski was not among the 18 players called up by Partizan while Filip Petrov, who scored the lone goal in Macedonia’s U-21 win over Serbia, played from the start for Javor.

Serbia, Jelen Superliga, BSK Borca – Borac 2:0
Stefan Spirovski did not play for Borac.

Israel, Ligat Toto, Bnei Sachnin – Maccabi Petah Tikva 3:4
Vanco Trajanov played until the 71st minute for Maccabi Petah Tikva when he was replaced by Dan Romann.

Israel, Liga Leumit, Hapoel Kiryat Shmona – Ahva Arabe 1:0
Zoran Baldovaliev for the third straight week scored for Hapoel Kiryat Shmona.  He scored the lone goal of the game in the 75th minute and played the entire game.

Slovenia, 1.SNL, Olimpija – Domzale 1:1
Agim Ibraimi started for Olimpija and played until the 82nd minute when he was replaced by Rujovic.  He also received a yellow card.
